My teabag art for today was another image transfer that didn't quite work

My teabag art for today.  This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso.  I attempted another image transfer using a photo of a steam train that we took while in the UK.  It really came out too dark to really even tell what you were looking at so I enhanced the details with prisma watercolor pencils.

A scrapbook page of my grandson on his first day of School

This is a scrapbook page of my handsome grandson Jack on his first day of school.  This is a mixed media piece using tissue paper, torn page from a dictionary applied with Matt Medium, and texture paste through various stencils.  I then added a few random embellishments.

My teabag art for today was on a used teabag painted with black gesso

My teabag art for today.  This was a used teabag primed with black gesso.  I then painted the girl on watercolor paper with watercolor and tore her out and sewed her to the teabag with bits of lace, netting that used to hold fruit, and ribbon.

Mixed media teabag art for today is sewing themed.

My teabag art for today.  This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso.  The background was made with a text stamp, versamark ink and copper embossing powder and then sprayed with several colors of Glimmer mist and color shine.  I then stitched on a piece of brown satin, plastic webbing and a piece of a clothing pattern.  Diecut ephemera added on top - not sure where they came from - had them in my stash.
