My teabag art for today. This was just from my imagination

My teabag art for the day.  This is just from my imagination (that's supposed to be bougainvillea).  This was an unused teabag primed with clear gesso and painted with watercolor and gouache.  It looks like it's falling down! Oh Well.

My teabag art for yesterday. My reference photo was one I took while in Vietnam

My teabag art for today was inspired by a photo we took in Vietnam (I actually bought one of their mats when there, back in Australia when asked did you buy anything wooden or any kind of mat or straw so we said yes.  Then they inspected it they just banged it on the counter and all of these bugs fell out so needless to say we didn't get to keep it - it was destroyed)  This was an unused teabag primed with clear gesso and painted with watercolor and gouache.  Details added with black ink pen and prisma watercolor pencils.

My teabag art for today. This is the Cathedral of Santa Maria Dell'Asunta on the island of Torcello, Venice, Italy

My teabag art for today is the Weeping Angel

My teabag art for today.  I really struggle with anything that is white.  This is supposed to be the Angel of Grief or the Weeping Angel - an 1894 sculpture by William Wetmore Story for the grave of his wife Emelyn Story at the Protestant Cemetary in Rome.  It's full title bestowed by the creator was The Angel of Grief Weeping Over the Dismantled Altar of Life.  This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso and painted with watercolor and gouache.
