My teabag art for today. This is supposed to be stained glass. This was an unused teabag primed with clear gesso and painted with watercolor and gouache. Details added with black ink pen and posca pens. The negative space was painted with indigo blue and then Iridescent medium was added to the colored design.

My teabag art for today is another mixed media piece.
My teabag art for today is another mixed media piece. This was a used teabag and I have quite a bit of trouble getting these Nerada teabags apart. The seams are sealed and I usually tear them so badly I cannot use them but this one just ended up with a hole on the side so I glued the tag to the back behind the hole. This was painted with watercolor, gouache and prisma watercolor pencils. Details added with black ink pen and posca pens. I added a ribbon bow.

My teabag art for today - Margarita imitating the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Cocktail Blueprint series of stamps
LOL, my favorite drink - I have always loved the Tim Holtz/stampers anonymous blueprint stamp series. I have this Cocktail Blueprint series on my wishlist - but even if I had it it would not fit on a teabag so I decided to try to duplicate it in miniature.
This is a used tea bag but some of the tea does not leave much in the way of marks when it dries - the tag is missing from this one but I believe it was Chamomile tea.
This one is primed with clear gesso and then I used gouache to paint the image - I used a white posca pen and black permanent ink pen for details.
