My teabag art for today - Ha Ha She looks like Wilma Flintstone
My teabag art for today. LOL, Unintentionally she looks like Wilma Flintstone. This was a used teabag primed with white gesso, added patterned tissue to the bacground with matte medium, more white gesso, then sprayed Heidi Swapp Chartreuse Color shine through a stencil. I drew the paper doll on watercolor paper and then made her bodice and skirt out of cardstock. The skirt was made with Sizzix Thinlits die set Funky Floral 3

My teabag art for today begged to be on a journal page
My teabag art for today was just begging to be an Art journal page. This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso and was covered with bits of newspaper including the top title. The lady was drawn using the stabilo All pencil and a little color was added with watercolor. I used a mixture of Dina Wakley and Dyan Reaveley acrylic paints with Dina stencils and masks on the background. I added Kaisercraft texture netting die cut and die cut arrow.

My teabag art for today is a fairy.
My teabag art for today. This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso. I added torn bits of patterned tissue paper with Matte medium and a bit of paper was hanging off of the edge that looked like a wing so the fairy was born. She was painted with watercolor and gouache. Details added with black ink pen and white gel pen.

My teabag art for today was inspired by the song by Guy Sebastian "Get Along"
My teabag art for today was inspired by the Guy Sebastian song "Get Along" and just needed to be on an art journal page. This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso. Added pieces of book text and gelli print paper to the background with matte medium. The background faces were stamped on tissue paper with Dina Wakley Funky Faces stamp set, painted with acrylic paints and added with matte medium. I added some burlap, pink cotton crochet yarn and then the figure from Dina Wakley stamp set Abstract figures was stamped on another gelli print and torn out. Added that to the top and stitched the title on my sewing machine. This was added to a journal page that had paint off of stencils from a previous journal page. The netting and honeycomb diecuts were from Tim Holtz mixed media die sets.

My art journal entry for the November Dina Wakley Facebook challenge.
My entry for the Dina Wakley Facebook November challenge to use your favorite Dina products. The background on this page started off with leftovers pressed onto the background from the Dina "Viney" and "Spaced Dots" stencils from another project. I added some more circles with the Dina Scribbly Circles stamp set. I used torn pieces of old gelli plate papers, a honeycomb diecut using Tim Holtz mixed media die and some leftover pieces of burlap. The bee was colored with my scribble sticks.

My teabag art for today is another Halloween themed piece
My teabag art for today. Sorry - had to do another Halloween one. This was an unused teabag primed with clear gesso. The circle was painted with acrylics and the rest with gouache and watercolor. Details added with Prisma watercolor pencils and black permanent ink pen. The fence die cut was a spellbinders die and the title was from a stamp set by Dimensions Crafts called Scary Words.
