"Fashions fade - Style is Eternal" Art journal page. The background on this page was primed with white gesso and it had just leftover paints, inks and sprays from stencils put on it so as not to waste the product. I decided to use a Jane Davenport collage napkin piece that I tore out and applied with Matte Medium. i painted with acrylic paints, JD paint over pens, Posca Pens, JD magic wands, and clear wink of stella for the sparkle. The title was a stamp set that I had stamped on tissue paper and tore out and applied with matte medium.

My teabag art for today is another Christmas Themed teabag
Ok, this one almost ended up in the too hard basket. I really struggled with it but I kept at it. My teabag art for today is another Christmas themed piece. This was a used teabag painted with watercolor and gouache. Details added with black ink pen and prisma watercolor pencils. The nightmare before Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas movies.

My teabag art for today is in memory of my Father.
For the next few days I am going to do teabags of characters from my favorite Christmas Movies. My teabag art for today is a character from one of my favorites and in memory of my father who we used to joke with and call Scrooge. I did a needlepoint stocking for him of Ebenezer Scrooge over 30 years ago that he loved. This was a used teabag. The basecoat was done in watercolor and then I added all of the details with Faber Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils.

My teabag art for today begged to be on a journal page
My teabag art for today was just begging to be an Art journal page. This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso and was covered with bits of newspaper including the top title. The lady was drawn using the stabilo All pencil and a little color was added with watercolor. I used a mixture of Dina Wakley and Dyan Reaveley acrylic paints with Dina stencils and masks on the background. I added Kaisercraft texture netting die cut and die cut arrow.

My teabag art for today was inspired by the song by Guy Sebastian "Get Along"
My teabag art for today was inspired by the Guy Sebastian song "Get Along" and just needed to be on an art journal page. This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso. Added pieces of book text and gelli print paper to the background with matte medium. The background faces were stamped on tissue paper with Dina Wakley Funky Faces stamp set, painted with acrylic paints and added with matte medium. I added some burlap, pink cotton crochet yarn and then the figure from Dina Wakley stamp set Abstract figures was stamped on another gelli print and torn out. Added that to the top and stitched the title on my sewing machine. This was added to a journal page that had paint off of stencils from a previous journal page. The netting and honeycomb diecuts were from Tim Holtz mixed media die sets.
