"Silverton Dunny" A pen and ink watercolor

This painting was inspired by a photo that a friend took when driving through Silverton, NSW.  There is a house there that has this "Dunny" displayed in the front yard - complete with a pair of legs and feet!  Too funny.

"Whoops-A-Daisy" pen and ink watercolor

This pen and ink with watercolor was inspired by a counted cross stitch I did 15 years ago.  I've always loved it because it was so bright and cheerful all done in shades of blue and yellow.  I decided to try to draw it and paint in watercolor.

Watercolor Birthday Card

I love the way this card turned out.  I made it for my husband's birthday in October.   It was done on watercolor paper and I added texture paste through a circuit board stencil and then wet the paper and added various colors of watercolor and let them blend together.  I added a banner that I stamped on watercolor paper that had been colored the same way as the card.  I tied it to the front with some yarn.

Fabulous and Fun

I just finished this scrapbook layout of my beautiful granddaughter Suri.  I titled it "Fabulous and fun".  This was her first attempt at putting make-up on by herself.  This photo was taken in May this year (2017).  She is very creative but it was a little scary since she was only 6 at the time.

I used DCWV paper pad "All dressed up".  I used two tim holtz dies to cut the bird on a branch and the branches to the left of the photos.  I cut the film strip, bird cage and polaroid frame on my silhouette Cameo.  I hand crocheted two of the flowers.  The large flower was made from a dryer sheet and colored with watered down acrylic paint.
