Christmas Tree ornament Christmas Card, Gift Card Holders, Gift Card Purse 2013

This year I decided to make a Tree Ornament as my Christmas Card.  The list of products were light grey cardstock, a manilla shipping tag from the Office Supply store, Tim Holtz Toy Soldier Bigz die, Stampers
Anonymous Christmas Blue Print CMS135 stamp set by Tim Holtz, silver embossing powder, versamark ink pad, Black soot distress ink, broken china distress ink, silver ribbon, and silver foil tape.

These three photos are of gift card holders that I made for my stepson and his partner and my daughter in law.  I used paper from My Minds Eye Signature Xmas Holiday Glitter paper pad, some 3D Christmas stickers I had in my stash.

This was also a gift card holder that I made for my husband to give to a lady that he works with for their Secret Santa Exchange.  I made a chunky charm to hang from the handle.  This was also paper from My Minds Eye.  The purse was made from a template I have had for years but not sure where it came from.

4 Generations

"4 Generations" Scrapbook Page. This photo was taken when I visited my son and daughter-in-law in May of this year. This photo is 4 generations - my mother, me, my son and his 4 children. All handmade flowers - the paper collection I used was FabScraps Timeless Travel and I used Hot off the Press Roses in Harmony die cuts. The texture in the background was done with IStencils 05-00031 R SC stencil and texture paste. I used Penny Duncan SVG cut files for the large dark rose flower and leaves and the petals of the flower were stamped with the Heartfelt creations "Vintage Word" Background stamp. The roses, rosebuds and small white flowers were made with the Carl "Vinca" punch. The beige flower was made with the Heartfelt Creations Stamp and die and then colored with Tim Holtz distress markers.  All of the flowers were sprayed with Tattered Angels Pearl glimmer mist.  The bead charm was handmade with beads and findings I had in my stash, The pocket watch was cut from Graphic 45 "A Timely Point of View" paper and I layered it on some chipboard and then onto a lace paper doily.  Thank you for looking!

Top Bloke Birthday Card

The Flower Girl

Hi Everyone,
I have finished another scrapbook page and wanted to share it.  I used a piece of white cardstock, stamped on the background with versamark ink and embossed with a' la mode white embossing powder using Darkroom Door stamp "Prague, Vol 2; Mickey Choo Botanical set; Stampers Anonymous "Curiosities"; Heartfelt Creations background stamp "Vintage Word".  Then the background was sprayed with Heidi Swapp Black Velvet and Primrose Color Shine. The frame is from Scrapmatts and I painted it white, then brushed it with versamark ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder.  The birds are also from Scrapmatts and they were painted white, then after they were dry I painted on some white glue and sprinkled them with Martha Stewart Fine white glitter.  The wedding dress is a Jolee embellishment.  All of the flowers are handmade.  The lillies were made from Susan's Garden Lily die, I crocheted the pink flower and added a pearl flower center.  I added pieces of lace, white feathers and string pearl trim behind the flower.  The label was made with Spellbinders Elegant ovals and the text was printed on white cardstock using my computer.  Thank you for Looking!

Happy Jack (Little Boy Layout of my grandson) Using DCWV Mainstreet Paper Collection

Hi Everyone, back again with another masculine layout.  This layout is of my grandson Jack.  He is such a Happy Baby and I wanted to document how when you look at him, he looks back, then when you start talking to him he slowly works his way into a smile.  He is always Happy and is such a joy to be around.  The products I used on this layout are from DCWV Mainstreet Collection.  I used the spellbinders on the edge die "notebook paper".  Fired brick and vintage photo distress inks were used for all of the pieces.  All die cut pieces are glued onto thin chipboard.  All of the arrows are on foam tape.  I used Glossy accents on two of the elements.  The small stamp shapes on the 4th photo were cut with my EK Success Postage stamp punch and the Sizzix ticket die.

"The Taylor Garden" Scrapbook layout with Graphic 45 Secret Garden Papers

Another Layout using Graphic 45 Secret Garden Papers.  The background was created with the Blue Secret Garden text paper and I put the Crafter's Workshop stencil "Flower Shower" down and misted with Forest Green Glimmer mist.  I then added a circle of the striped paper and a rectangle of the green Meadow Lark paper with a fussy cut border out of the blue.  I used the opposite side of the Meadow Lark paper that had journalling tags and used them as mats for my photos.  Everything was inked with vintage photo.  I painted some scroll chipboard pieces that I had with brown acrylic paint and fussy cut some flowers and added to the scrolls.  I tied raffia to one end of the scroll and formed a half circle around the top to complete the circle and hung a title (cut with spellbinders opulent ovals die).  I used Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Squares die for the frames on the girl photos and Megan Elizabeth All around scalloped circle for the frame on the boy photo.  The butterfly chipboard pieces were misted with Frost Glimmer mist.  Thanks for looking!

Mixed Media "Angel" Scrapbook Layout with Graphic 45 Secret Garden papers

Back again with another layout.  This layout is of my 3 year old Grand Daughter Gabby.  I Used Graphic 45 Secret Garden Papers,  Manor House flowers, chipboard garden bench, cardstock birdhouse die cut. I used Dylusions Melted Chocolate Spray over a cobblestone mask for the background.  I also then used my Craftersworkshop "Art Is" stencil with some texture paste that I added a little peach acrylic paint to, and then smoothed it across the stencil to leave the little areas of text on the background.  I fussy cut sections of flowers out of the paper and popped it up in the top left, bottom left, and top right corners.  The small flower bottom left with the rhinestone center I made out of silk and I cut the petals with a chipboard template and then glued the layers together.  I crocheted the tiny pink flower with the pearl center (bottom left) and then sewed pearl seed beads around the center and sewed a larger pearl in the center.  The angel is cut from Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings Collection paper "Falling for you" and the title "Angel" was cut using SCAL and my Cricut.  The birdcage is "suspended" from a piece of silver chain with a pink flower and silver leaf dangling from it.  Hope you enjoy!  Thanks for looking!
