My last teabag for about a month - we leave tonight for the UK with our two mothers! I decided I didn't want the pressure of having to do one everyday while we are away. I'll just try to do some paintings in my travel art journal. This was an unused teabag primed with clear gesso and painted with watercolor and gouache. My teabag art for today is a mixed media piece. This was a used teabag primed with clear gesso. The background was done with watered down dylusions paints and then I tore out a strip and a circle from an old gelli print and drew and cut out some hearts and sewed them on with my sewing machine. I added bits of crochet yarn and cheesecloth. I also did some doodling in dkjoneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12479407538890801824noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2706333181135855390.post-20850544722913144692019-05-23T13:06:00.001-07:002019-05-23T13:06:19.806-07:00Another Art Journal Page Completed
Another Art Journal page completed in my small mont marte journal. The background was painted with black gesso. I then stenciled the butterfly with white gesso using a large stencil I have from the Crafter's Workshop TCW206. Then using rose Quartz, Pomegranate see, and funky fuchsia Dylusions paints, I did a color fade over the white gesso through the stencil. I used dkjoneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12479407538890801824noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2706333181135855390.post-13386189921894975912019-05-23T12:02:00.001-07:002019-05-23T12:02:44.914-07:00My teabag art for today.

I just finished this art Journal page titled "Love Note". This is another entry for the Dina Monthly Facebook challenge (to do something with a watercolor look) in my large Dina Wakley journal on one of the cotton rag pages. I primed it with white gesso. I then watered down some Dina Wakley paints (Lemon, Lime, Eggplant) and added them to the page. My teabag art for today was inspired by a photo we took in Vietnam (I actually bought one of their mats when there, back in Australia when asked did you buy anything wooden or any kind of mat or straw so we said yes. Then they inspected it they just banged it on the counter and all of these bugs fell out so needless to say we didn't get to keep it - it was destroyed) This was dkjoneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12479407538890801824noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2706333181135855390.post-85878160850154058062019-05-17T14:51:00.000-07:002019-05-17T14:51:27.308-07:00My teabag art for today.
